Living Royalty

A local clothing label. A much wider audience.

Living Royalty wanted to reach shoppers beyond its local following. A three-week brief brought research, responsive design, and a working website together around that ambition.

Make the brand legible to someone new.

The label had launched its first line in 2015 and wanted to grow beyond its hometown. The work began with its audience, competitors, and the reasons people choose to buy clothing online. The website needed to introduce the brand as well as the clothes.

Bring the clothes into the foreground.

The responsive direction paired the brand’s photography with a direct invitation to browse. On a smaller screen, the product and the next action still needed to be easy to find.

Follow the shopping journey all the way through.

Prototypes explored the storefront, product selection, size choice, cart, and contact screens. Looking at the connected journey made it possible to consider each decision in context, rather than treating each page as a separate design.
